We currently offer UPS Ground shipping within the United States:

The cost for shipping is based upon your total order amount. Use the table below as a quick reference for calculating your shipping charge. (For shipments to Alaska and Hawaii and US Territories see * below).

* For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Marina Islands, an additional shipping charge for standard UPS Ground will be assessed.

For APO/FPO addresses, all orders will be shipped via our standard ground services. Standard delivery timeframes do not apply to APO/FPO shipments. The cost for shipping is based upon your order size.

Our goal is to process all orders within 24 hours of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped during regular business hours (Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM PST, excluding holidays). If we encounter any problems processing or shipping your order you will be contacted within 10 business days. Rates subject to change at any time. Fuel surcharge may be assessed.

 

RETURNS

Credits will be posted to the appropriate account within 30 business days of receipt of equipment. Packages should be mailed to the address below with the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box.

Defective Equipment :

Any goods which prove to be defective within 30 days of delivery may be exchanged for a replacement of the same model. The following guidelines must be met for consideration of return.

  • Contact our offices within 30 Days at 800-951-3141 for a return authorization number. No returned merchandise will be accepted without a valid return authorization number on/within the shipping box.

  • All defective returns must be post marked within 5 business days from the issue date of the Return Authorization Number. Packages not post marked within 5 business days of issue date of the Return Authorization Number may be rejected by the returns department.

  • All returned merchandise must be in original packaging with all manufacturers included accessories along with the manuals and instructions. Missing accessories will result in a charge of the actual replacement cost of those items.

  • Merchandise initially returned as defective, whose defect cannot be verified, will incur a freight charge for replacement shipment.

  • If merchandise returned as defective proves to not be defective a representative will contact the customer to either send the unit back to the customer or restock the item. Any return shipping charges paid by SOS Alert Products for equipment that proves to not be defective will be deducted from the amount credited to the customer account for the return.

  • Please note that customer has 5 business days to report any missing or damaged parts from date of delivery. All defective reshipments will be sent UPS Ground. Customers can upgrade the defective reshipment at their cost upon request. A hold will be placed on the purchasers credit card for the amount of the replacement Once the returned equipment is received by our warehouse the hold will be released.

Properly returned defective merchandise will be replaced without a charge as long as all parts, accessories, and manuals are returned in proper fashion. Any merchandise that arrives damaged requires special attention. In the event this occurs, please call immediately. If you have any questions, please call us toll free at 800-951-3141.

Canada returns may require duty fees or brokerage fees depending on the carrier of choice. SOS Alert Products assumes no responsibility for duty or brokerage fees for any shipments both outbound or return. Canadian customers are responsible for all duty, customs and brokerage fees.
